Dwell All My Days
Thursday, August 3rd, 2006I desire with all my heart holiness–not apathy I desire to know the Holy Spirit–being holy, even as He is holy. I desire to serve Him as He may require and lift my hands in worship. But my deepest desire, even as Mary left Martha to her good deeds in the kitchen, is to be with my LORD according to Psalm 27:4.
One thing I ask of the LORD,
This is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.
See my heart, O God, and know my yearnings. Your name is the sweetest name I know, and I desire you more than any earthly pleasure. I love knowing you. I love you. You are wonderful! If only I could know you more!
